March for Parks is a Westmoreland County Event for three parks, one of which is Cedar Creek Park.
Fun was had for all at this year’s event and some of the activities include:

Mon-Valley RC Airplane Club offering free drone lessons and demonstrations
Paper airplane flying contest for kids and other children's activities
Raffle basket auctions
Breakfast provided by the Rostraver Lions Club
Tasty snacks and lunch donated by the West Newton Subway, Eat 'n Park, Snyder of Berlin

Funds raised help with master planning a section of the park to include a dog park, boundless playground, upgraded restrooms with flush toilets, accessible walkways and other items.

We are also planning upgrades and improvements to the R.C. model airfield.
